Geo 365: June 16, Day 167: Dome and Flow

Looking roughly southeast from the trail on the Big Obsidian Flow, the dome which I suspect more or less marks the vent where this mass erupted is apparent. When you see this flow from above, from Paulina Peak, large scale patterns and bands are obvious. When you see it up close, from its surface, it simply seems chaotic.
