Wednesday Wednesday: Have a Happy Thanksgiving Edition

Interzone is open from 8 until 2 tomorrow, and news, et cetera, tends to be much slower on Holidays, so I may very well be able to put up a real post for the day. But I don't think I've ever posted this scene from "Addams Family Values" before, and on the off chance there might be someone in the US who hasn't seen it, enjoy a re-enactment of the first Thanksgiving. As only Wednesday Addams might conceive it.

Have a Miserable Wednesday Wednesday

It's pushing mid-nineties here in Corvallis, with the next two days forecast to be nearly one hundred. Bif is not liking this at all; I have the sense he's more miserable than I am. Filled his bowl with refrigerated water last night. *That* he liked. On the other hand, while Ozma was a huge fan of the frozen damp towel trick, Bif didn't much care for it.

(EpicPonyz) I haven't watched (or listened to) the Rebecca Black video and have no intention of doing so. I have enough difficulty with musical mindworms infesting my thoughts to begin with. For example, I've had Copperhead Road running through my skull since I posted it last Saturday. But see, I like that song (even if I am getting tired of it). The last thing I want is to infect my head with a song that everybody loves to hate. Think of it as preemptive meme vaccination.

So while I'm not all that okay with the amount of abuse Miss Black has had hurled in her general direction (c'mon... she's a 14-year-old KID, people), I'll second the above sentiment: No. It's Wednesday.
